God Titles

What am I supposed to do in life? What is my end goal? Where am I headed? Am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing to fulfill my “calling”?

These are all questions I’m sure have crossed your mind a time or two, as they have mine.

Bringing home a brand new baby 3 weeks ago has given me lots of time to sit and think (while nursing in the wee hours of the night); while at the same time giving me no extra time to do things at all.

If you ever wonder if you’re “doing it right” or thinking you never have time to get things done, let me encourage you to figure out your “GOD TITLES.”

here are a few of mine:

When God gave me parents, He labeled me a CHILD; when He gave me siblings, He labeled me a SISTER; when He gave me a business, He labeled me an ENTREPRENEUR; when God gave me a husband, He labeled me a WIFE; when He gave me beautiful babies, He labeled me a MOTHER.

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

While I am fulfilling my God Titles, I am doing exactly what I’m called to do. While I’m being a wife & a mother feeling as if I have no time to accomplish other things, but only do things around the house and feed people (lol), I am doing exactly what I’m called to do.
I’ve got a new outlook on taking care of my family: doing the laundry, cooking meals, & cleaning the house are not chores, they are services to the people I’m called to serve. Let me tell you, it is a joy to serve my people.

Whether you’re a student, mother, wife, husband, father, teacher, worker; whatever your title is, the Lord blessed you with it, there’s a reason you are where you are now, enjoy it & fulfill your God Titles to the best of your ability.
